Rocío has over 20 years of experience working in the fields of non-metallic and metallic materials testing in the aerospace, defence, and renewable sectors.
Experience
Rocío has held a variety of management and technical leadership positions while keeping a marked practical approach. She has focused on the more complex aspects of mechanical testing on non-metallic materials and helped clients develop testing programs to determine the suitability of their products.
As Technical Director of the Materials Testing Department at Element Sevilla, she has led the laboratory through the most demanding technical and quality qualifications (Nadcap NMMT, MMT, ISO 17025, and ISO 9100), as well as customer-specific accreditations (AIRBUS, EMBRAER, and BOEING among others).
Additionally, Rocío has contributed to developing and launching a robust internal LIMS system to manage the laboratory's production (testing and reporting).
