LONDON, UK – September 18, 2014 – Delsen Testing Laboratories is to be formally rebranded under the Element Materials Technology name. One of the most highly regarded composites testing laboratories in the US, the newly named Element Los Angeles plays a key role in the company’s alignment with Aerospace Primes who are focusing their R&D budgets increasingly towards composite materials.  

On the rebranding, Rick Sluiters, Element’s Executive Vice President, Aerospace, comments: “We are delighted that Delsen has now officially become part of the Element platform. Our goal is for Element Los Angeles to become a global center of excellence for polymer matrix composites (PMC) knowledge by 2018.”

The Nadcap-approved laboratory in Glendale, CA, holds a number of major Aerospace Prime approvals and recently received Airbus accreditation for AITM 2.0005, 2.0003, 2.0004, 2.0005 and 2.0038 standards.

The site is now fully integrated into the Element platform, encompassing quality systems, health and safety and technical and commercial sharing. It will be officially known as Element Los Angeles from October 1st 2014.
